You should expect these costs
Your training - flexible like your needs
Participation in our training in original logotherapy (both online and in-person) costs €1,050 per semester. You have the choice between participating as an auditor, if you, for example, do not run your own practice and only want to utilize parts of the course offerings, or completing the entire training with a certificate recognized by the Viktor Frankl Institute in Vienna.

The entire training to become a certified logotherapist consists of a total of 5 semesters, 2 supervision courses, and a course in communication skills. At the end of each semester course, an exam takes place to verify eligibility for participation in the following semester. On this website, you can view the subsequent semester courses in your “Personal Area” and book by semester.
Additionally, we offer the course self-experience. This course is not mandatory but provides valuable support to internalize what you have learned and apply it in practice.
After successfully completing all courses, you will receive a certificate for your training in original logotherapy. This certificate confirms your qualification and commitment in this significant therapeutic field.”
Logotherapy Online
The Logotherapy Online Training offers you the following benefits for €1,050 per semester:
- Access to the videos of the current semester for nearly 6 months
- Sending of a workbook
- Participation in 4 two-hour webinars with Dr. Heidi Schönfeld and Dr. h.c. Alexander Vesely-Frankl
- Final exam in the form of multiple-choice questions
To be eligible for the exam, you must have participated in at least 2 of the 4 webinars. The price also includes the exam fees, a certificate booklet to document your training, as well as the certificate itself, provided you earn it.
Logotherapy Training in Bamberg
The Logotherapy Training in Presence in Bamberg also costs €1,050 per semester and includes:
- Lectures at the Bishop’s House in Bamberg, led by Dr. Heidi Schönfeld
- 5 sessions (Friday & Saturday) per month
- A final exam at the end of the 5th session
- Course language is german
Additionally, the price includes:
- 5 weekends with 12 teaching hours each
- 5 freshly cooked warm dinners at the Bishop’s House
- 5 freshly prepared 3-course meals at the Bishop’s House
- Coffee or tea during all breaks
Advanced offers for advanced learners
To complete your training for a certificate, you additionally need:
- 2 Supervision courses: One semester of supervision (5 times 4 hours) costs €400.
- 1 Communication Skills course: One week of communication skills costs €550. This price includes all lunches and dinners as well as coffee/tea.
After 4 semesters of original logotherapy, you can begin the “Self-Experience” course, which consists of 10 meetings spread over a year.

Supervision overview
Selection process for registration
Direct registration is not possible without further steps. You must meet the admission requirements and apply here for the training.
The Logotherapy Online training follows a demanding curriculum. Therefore, you need prior education that corresponds to university admission. If you do not have this, you can participate as an auditor. The second admission requirement is that you are psychologically stable. The logotherapy of psychiatrist Viktor E. Frankl also deals a lot with mental illnesses and problematic life attitudes. To handle this well, you should currently not be in therapy or seeking therapy.
We will then invite you to a personal phone call and send you an activation link for your “Personal Area” on this website.
Your binding registration for the online or in-person course
As soon as your registration via our online registration form is received, you will receive an invoice for the course fees from us. After transferring the fees, your place in the course is definitively reserved. If you need to withdraw by no later than 48 hours before the start of the course, we reserve a cancellation fee of €100. After that, there is no longer any entitlement to a refund.
